Everytime I download an AVI or WMV I get that error message, however MPG's run just fine? Any guess?

When do you get the error message, when you download them? or when you play them? where are you downloading them from? what program(s) have you tried to view them with? is the error from a program, or a windows message?

Well, this only occurs with WMV and AVI files, on any site....what happens in the course of the procedure is this.

I left click the link one time, it shows a download box, and the status bar going up ( I have it to autorun when it's done) and I get said error message.

Where I am downloading them from? Anywhere.

Trying to view them with Windows Media player, on that note, when I do successfully play (IN THE BROWSER, loads in the browser, that's the only time that file works...its "White Washed" perhaps thats another issue to save for another posting)

I am pretty sure the error is a Windows related error.

So you are using a Download Manager? Which one? What browser? Could you not autorun the file(s) and run them from the download destination and see if the error occurs?

Can you right click links and use the save as option?

    Invalid Menu Handle

    hambone2,
    Greetings.
As best I can navigate the Forum, you have received 9 replies
to the 'Invalid Menu Handle'. So far I have not been able to view
    all of the replies.
Have you been able to fix the problem?
    If so how?
I get the message in Windows XP and Juno but not
in Windows Outlook Express when trying to view PowerPoint
    presentations.
    Can't find a spell checker.
    Thanks,
    littlesamurai
