    disc to disc

    Hi
    I often hire dvd films
it would be great to be able to copy
bits and pieces of a movie ie all the best bits
but someone told me they are encrypted

I ve got a panasonic dvd recorder
is it worth my while buying a dvd player
    and hooking them up ?
    thanks for any tips

When you play a hired DVD at the start it will tell you it is against the law to copy any part of this DVD.
This is the wrong forum to ask this kind of question I'm sure
