divx sign

hi guys and uys or whatever,

i am in the process of making several film trailers. one thing that is annoying the crap out of me is that the movie clips all have a god damn DIVX sign on the bottom right hand side at the start of the clips. as i am adding these clips together, there appears a divx symbol every few seconds. is there anyway to remove these clips? i have these files saved as .avi files and am using windows movie maker if this is any use. windows xp sp2 etc..
