How to remove tab on add/remove programs window

I have recently installed some programs on my computer and noticed that an additional tab named "Network Install" appeared next to the "Install/Uninstall" tab under add/remove programs window in the control panel. Is there a way to remove the "Network Install" tab?

If that tab appeared then what ever you installed was designed for a over-the-network install (and possibly uninstall). But if you want to get rid of the tab.
1) Run Regedit
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION
3) There should be a key called "AppInstallPath"
4) Delete this.
