Problem when trying to open a link [Solved]
Hi and thanks for reading!
My problem is this: I can't use a link in a program, i.e. Outlook express or from a shortcut in the start menu any more, while I still can do it when I put the address directly in internet explorer. Not much of a problem, but a little nuisance in the long run, so thanks for some help.

Hi, go to tools /internet options/ temporary internet files and delete. Does a blank window open when you click on a link? Try this, Start/Run and type in: REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL. press enter.
Then go to: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Reset Web Settings.

??
Can you explain what this 'run' command is doing?? What is being corrected by this process??
On a simular note, I have a problem sometimes with a link NOT opening a new window sometimes. I want a new window! In the old days of Win98, when you held down 'shift' and clicked a new link in email, etc you always got a new window. How do u do it now?? any idea??
