Security update will not install

If you wish not to install the Security update for Microsoft.net framework, version 1.1 service pack 1 (KB886903) then you can visit the site again and choose the option to "Hide this Update" and that should keep the icon from showing up. The other is to install of course.

I have chose to hide the update and it comes out of hiding each time. It will not install, that was my main reason for posting...
