Need to refresh page half of the time
For the past couple of days it seems that I have to hit the refresh button in order to connect to some websites. The strange thing is that it happens only about half of the time. I'll try to connect, and then I'll get the "Page cannot be displayed...Cannot find server or DNS" error".
I'm using IE 6 / SP2.
I've done a spyware search and all is good there.
As far as I know, I haven't made any changes to my firewall and browser settings.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

mittene--You could clean your cache (Temporary Internet Files). IE Tools|Internet Options|General tab|Delete Files to see if that helps.
But if it does not, I suspect this is a server (either your ISP's or that of the webpage you are trying to reach) problem, about which you can do nothing, other than click Refresh.
If this continues for any length of time and you are paying your ISP for service, phone them for technical service.
Keep track of what pages are having the problem and what time of day it is that this happens to see if there is any pattern.

This did the trick. I forgot to mention that I had tried deleting my temporary internet files to see if it would work. But this time I deleted my cookies too. Must have been a bad cookie I guess. Thanks!
