GRC's Netfilter coming...
Couldn't find anything about this, doing a search on this forum during the last 30 days. So thought i'd bring it to your attention.
Steve Gibson is working on a new program he calls "Net Filter". You can find the preliminary and his feelings on spyware, nettracking, etc. here: http://grc.com/nf/netfilter.htm
Don't know how the rest of you feel, but when it's released, i'm gonna' be one of the first to get it. I'm sick and tired of the way we're being treated by the commercial conglomerates who think they dominate the internet "and" the consumer!! As Steve says,,IT'S MY COMPUTER!!!
IMHO, the $24.00(US) that will be charged after the 30 day trial will be some of the best bucks i'll ever spend!

You're assuming it WILL ever get released, which with Steve Gibson doing the programming may never happen! I hope he DOES get it done, myself, as I know that what he DOES finish is uniformly good. In the meantime, I'll just keep using SpyBlocker 2.1a, which does all that anyway, is available now and is FREE. Check it out here: http://noads.hypermart.net/sb.htm Pete
