changing folder display
Hello
Is there anyway to change the way windows opens folders? For example, when I go to my computer, click on the c drive it opens with large icons. I would like this to automatically open with details. and when i click on the subfolders I would like it to automatically go to details as well. is this possible? thanks

When you open My Computer, select the View menu, then Details. Now select the Tools menu, Folder Options, View tab and click on 'Like current folder'.

You're welcome - glad to be able to help for once instead of asking the questions myself ...
