    Spybot error Question

Greetings - ran my up-to-date SpyBot 1.3 this morning and came up with an error that I haven't yet been able to figure out. Any insights or ideas?
    TIA

    Lightbulb RE: Answer

Spybot is likely corrupted. Uninstall Spybot, Restart your computer, run a updated virus scan, if WinXP/WinMe temporarily disable System Restore first and restart machine, re-install a fresh download of Spybot, update it, tun the spyware scan again.

    Thanks for the reply, Styx.
Funny thing is that there haven't been any more such errors or problems since that one. I'm hesitant to uninstall/reinstall spybot now as all seams to be working fine again - I thought maybe there was a problem with an earlier update that had maybe been resolved through the couple of updates since. Anyhow, the pc is also getting a clean bill of health from the many and various virus scans since the error message, so I think I might leave well enough alone. The only odd thing that's been happening lately is that I'm getting a lot of empty msoclip1 directories in various locations including desktop, My Documents, and elsewhere, but I doubt it's related - any thoughts?
