    Question Wireless dialup connection

A friend ask me this question and I didn't have an answer. He ask if there was a wireless connector that a phone line could be plugged into so he could access his notebook wherever he was in his home without having to plug in each time he moved from room to room...

Wireless means just that, no wires. Of course if he's trying to access the internet, then he needs a wireless router plus a wireless card. The router would be used to connect to the main desktop or a wireless router/modem for cable/dsl. If he has dialup then no, a wireless router would be no use.
