I'm surprised you didn't know that 10 - the big wheel is for navigating back and forward on web pages, and the small one is for navingating through Windows Explorer by default. But, of course with IntelliWheel driver 5.3 and above you can configure it to do something else if you wish.

Or maybe they're for adjusting the submersion of the electrodes into a brine solution. (power saving mode)
