is 'vsmon' needed full time running Zone alarm on'98

After booting up and clicking Zone Alarm, i ctr/alt/del and have listed "ZoneAlarm and vsmon" Is vsmon used for email security or something else. I dont understand the 'two' listings for one application. Also if this is the case i could end task if not using OE. Right? Or maybe im way off. Please advise. And as always, Thanks for the help.

ZoneAlarm uses the ZoneAlarm progam, minilog, and the vsmon that you mentioned. They are all required for ZoneAlarm's proper function.
