Not bad
For PSU, I would go for a 400w
just for added comfort, also make sure you dont get a dud make. Enermax or Antec are the best ones.

Yes, thinking of that as it goes. Just trying to decide which to go for! Probably go with Antec to be honest.
As long as there are no obvious mismatches and such.
With this case (Midi), a standard ATX will fit, right? The more I think about it the more I'm not sure!
Thanks

its just a new name ... as far as i can see
they dont make atholons anymore ... or at least by name they dont ... if you check the bios on your mb (if you havent flashed it lately) it will show as an atholon

If you haven't already, you should get a SATA HDD. They don't cost much more.
Getting a video card would take a load off the RAM. You can get one for about $30-40. It's worth it.
Why is your keyboard wireless, but the mouse isn't? You should probably get something by Microsoft or Logitech.
Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow.

The keyboard and mouse arent all that important, but obviously wireless would be better. I'll have a look to see what keyboard and mouse wireless combo's they do.
Vid card is now being debated as well, turns out this PC is going to be needed for playing DVD's on the telly. Any good reco's for vid cards with TV out?
Sata... I dont think this mobo has got SATA connection? Or am I missing the point?
Thanks

Ive changed my mind to SATA version of the above drive, only a few quid more. Plus I just realised this board has got SATA connectors.
Just the vid card now!

CPU support Up to XP 3200+ (FSB333)
The 3200+ runs at 400 MHz FSB. The cpu you have picked will work fine though. If you don't want to spend big bux on a PSU but want a good one, Thermaltake is a good choice.
Thermaltake Silent PurePower, 420W ATX power supply.UL, CSA, TUV, CE Approved. Intel Pentium 4 Compliant $39.00 free shipping from Newegg.

Well apparently we have just hit a monetary limit so this may not even be going ahead now, or things may have to be changed...
I'll post back either way.

Ok.
Would a decent 300w PSU cut it? Its only got one Optical and one HDD...
please say this is enough!!
I know its not ideal, but as long as it sticks to its rails it should be ok, surely?
Thanks
Hong
