    System Restore Unsuccessful

    Win Me.
    Why am I getting Restoration was unsuccessful message when I try and do a restore to an older date?

    I tried days this month, last month and even one before that. Do I need to download this again http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;290700

    My buffer size was set to 1/2 on the scale. I changed it to max now.

    I would download it again, then take a restore point and see if you are able to restore it.
