What I am trying to achieve is to direct a port number to a specific IP address.


Why ? Because the WAN has a Proxy Server and a Firewall to get to the Web.
The site router (which I cant get access to) points all web traffic to the proxy, running mime sweep. port 80 only is allowed.

what I want to do is direct port number 8321 to the Firewall instead.

can this be done on the proxy server or at the PC end ?

Proxy is running 2003 server, pc's are a mix of 95/98/2000/XP.


I seem to recall a text file that could be edited on the pc.
