I've run into a peculiar problem and hoping someone might possibly be able to offer some advice... We're running Lotus Domino/Notes as our email system within my company, I'm using the Outlook Connector to access my Lotus mail via Outlook XP.

Had worked fine for ages, and still works fine for the most part, but an annoying problem has started happening recently. Often times, when receiving email with attachments, I'll receive an error that "The attachment could not be accessed. Check your connection." or something to that effect when I try and launch or save it. If I launch Notes and try to access the attachment, I'll receive an error message that "The attachment is corrupt or has been modified since sent." and I can't access it.

When this happens, it only happens with attachments sent by local users within our company, it never happens with external email/attachments. Also, it only happens to me (and I'm the one holdout I know of that insists on using Outlook) so I'm ruling out an issue with our Notes setup. OLC is somehow choking on certain Notes attachments and then synching the garbled file back to the Domino server, which corrupts the timestamp and/or sig and prevents me from accessing it. It's gotten to the point where, if I have an urgent attachment I need to open, I need to use Notes directly since I can't risk Outlook messing it up. I can't go to our GIS dept for help, since this technically isn't a supported corporate setup, so I'm on my own.

Has anyone using OLC seen this before? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks in advance...

Cheers,
KV
