I tried the Via tech route No go.
I checked on the Asus site No drivers for

I'm sure it is USB1 since the board was introduced in June, 2000.
I usally manage to save the last set of drivers for my boards before ASUS removes it all from their website.
So I have these updated files and drivers readily available, and likely have the PDF version of the manual archived away on another system (somewhere). It might take awhile to find, and it is too large to post as an attachment, anyway. The original BIOS for the CUV4X will recognize 133 FSB processors up to 800Ghz
This board is one of my favorites and was a quick replacement for the P3V4X which could only handle a 100 FSB. The CUV4X was a huge improvement, and is very reliable. I still have use for it because it was the last one to have an ISA slot. I also have the dual processor version running W2k.
Included in NewCuv4x.zip are the latest BIOS, which should allow for processors up to 1Gig, and the graphics drivers. I also included documentation for these drivers. The VIA 4in1 matches the new BIOS but has to be sent separately. The sound drivers are too big to post, but can likely still be found on the ViaArena site.
