MS Windows 98 support

If you haven't seen yet:

You will need to cut and paste to get there, as the brackets in the URL is playing havoc with the board.

How'd I do it? Changed the two ";"'s to ";"'s. like so:

&#59[LN];LifeAn1

Murf--Thanks for this.
The bottom line seems to be (quoting from that link)
"Critical security updates will be provided on the Windows Update site through June 30, 2006.
"Customers may request non-critical security fixes for Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Me, and the most current version of their components until June 30, 2006 through typical assisted-support channels.
Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows Me downloads for existing security issues will continue to be available through regular assisted-support channels at no charge until June 30, 2006. "
Boldings are mine.
So, if MS thinks a fix is critical, we (Win98/ME users) will get it through Windows Update.
If a fix is non-critical, Lord knows how we will get it.
And if the security issue occurred before the cutoff date, it will continue to be available through Windows Update.

Ironically I cam across that article yesterday in a search I was doing for something else and read it but didn't realise it was an extension to the existing support.
