    Angry Help

I have a very big problem, all of the sudden for some reason I cannot access any program on my PC. I get this message when I try:

There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs, and then try again.
Heard at a local auto-repair shop:
    "I couldn't repair your brakes,
so I made your horn louder."

Start by giving us your computers specs. Does this happen all the time? Right when you turn the computer on?

Compaq 1255 notebook. It happens every time I try to start anything on my PC.

Hold downl the CTRL & ALT keys, press DEL once to bring up the Close Program dialog box. End Task on everything except Explorer and Systray, then try to start a program. Write down all of the programs that are running so you can post the list here.

Start Windows in safe mode and see if things work properly. Repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the system is starting should bring up the Startup Menu where you can choose safe mode.

Ouch! I hope you didn't loose anything important.

Here's hoping it'll behave itself for a long time to come
