    latest firmware for liteon ldw-811S

    anybody know what the latest firmware does for this dvd burner drive??

    Are there any drawbacks or have there been any bugs with the latest firmware??

    The only issue I've heard about with the HSOP firmware is that some people have said that they their drive was noisier when the system was restarted from a power off condition. it seems though that these reports are completely random, not frequent, and may only related to people with "modified" 811 drives. If in doubt go with (stay with) FSOK which seems to be fine.
