The Windows 3.1 File Manager program allows several possible ways of viewing files on any particular drive.
By specifying a particular "file extension" in File Manager's "view" menu, only files with that particular extension will be displayed.
To display files you can't seem to find, specify *.* in the "list files of type box" ......( I think that's what it's called).
Once this is done, double-click on the directory folder again or on the drive letter using File Manager to view the files you couldn't see before.
