Why do some people not recieve my emails!??
Hi, this is a problem I've had for a few months, I find it more annoying than anything...
When i use my account i have with my ISP, i find that some people i send emails to don't recieve them, whilst others do. but when i use a free account to send the email, they recieve it.
I just assumed that some people were too lazy to look properly in there inbox, but perhaps is more serious than that?

It could be your ISP mail server is on the others blocklist so its not getting through.

Hi
104456 could be right.
I'm an aol user. PM me and I'll give you my email address, you send a message and we'll see if aol is the problem.

I had a similar experience last week. Emails sent to aol accounts were being blocked. Delivery failure notices read as follows for all messages I sent to aol email recipients:
"The IP address you are using to connect to AOL is a
dynamic <<< 554- (residential) IP address. AOL will not accept future e-mail transactions <<< 554- from this IP address until your ISP removes this IP address from its list
<<< 554- of dynamic (residential) IP addresses."
I wrote several messages to my ISP (which, by the way, merged with AOL several years ago), and was told that it was a spamblocker problem they were attempting to correct. Strange thing is that, given the merger between the two companies, it appeared that one part of the company was blocking messages sent by another part of the same company. Go figure. Makes me wonder how their stock is doing.....
Problem seems to have been corrected, now.

Hi eee-tee:
You don't have to have Aol to have the problems you describe. I had the same problem, late receiving mail or not at all, late sending or not at all.
My cure to the problem may not be the right cure for you but when I switched from one ISP (AT&T) to (Highstream) I have had no e-mail problems since.
You might able to get help from your ISP and avoid a change to another . I wasn't that lucky, Some ISP's suck!!
