Is Canon BJC 6000 worth repairing?

I have this printer that seems dead in the water - Earlier, I took it apart and washed the ink pads and dried them and reassembled it - that was after refilling the inks. Now, the orange light will come on, but I cannot get far enough to use the Resume method to reset the counters and get it to working again. The question I have is - Is it worth it to get it repaired - or just forget it? If anyone sees some step I left out in what I have done, please let me know. Any help greatly appreciated. Norm69

Probably not, depends on how old this printer is because now you can buy brand new printers for about $50. Probably cost you more than $50 to get it repaired.

I sold my BJC-3000 at a garage sale for $5, needed a new printhead ($40).

I think $5 was more than I should have expected

    Now using a Canon i550 =
