    Hi try this:-
At the command prompt (Start/Run/CMD), type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each line:

    net stop cryptsvc
    ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 oldcatroot2
    net start cryptsvc

    Then try the install again.

Out of curiosity jenae, why from the command prompt instead of just renaming or deleting Catroot2 in Windows Explorer?
    Nick.

Hi. SS there is no technical reason other then having to do a search for the file and renaming, this is the same result and allows users to copy and paste so the outcome is more certain, for the less experienced user.

Check the 3rd issue down under "Problem Downloading/Installing a Software (non-driver) item".

hey there !! check your clock/date/year...make sure it is within limits....it wouldnt allow me to do that once ...it was because I had a failing battery and it was a few years off.
