    application running slow from server

    For some reason everything is running rather slow on our network this morning. One VB application in particular is running extremely slow. When our users go to open this application on their desktop, it takes a good 25 to 30 seconds for the app to load the login screen. Once the user puts their name and password in, it takes another 45 seconds for the app to load.

    We're running Netware 5.1. I checked the file server and all the stats look good. I checked the hub and all it really shows is a lot of traffic on the network, but no collisions or peaks. The HD that this app resides on has sufficient free space.

    Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

    Anyone have any thoughts on this? We've taken the server down and brought it back up and the app is still running slow to open.
