i would just like to thank everybody who helped me with my little problem. i have now downloaded wmp9 and it runs fine and connects to the net ( media guide ).
pls read on.
i still have a problem with star office 5.2, if anyone out ther has yahoo messenger then they will know what i mean. you know when you are on line and you recieve a new email it pops up and says " you have x amount of new messages ". you get 2 options ( o.k ) and ( go to mail ) when i click on ok i just carry on whatever i am doing and all is well, but if i click on go to mail then it tries to open it up via star office 5.2 but all that says is " page cannot be displayed and then i have to take the long way round to get to my mail. dose anyone have a solution to my problem, or do they have the same problem , pls reply.

StarOffice 5.2 has begun its "End-of-Life" process. Have you considered moving up to 6.0? Have you downloaded the latest (OpenOffice.org 1.1 RC2) updates?

did you know that Star Office 6.0 is FREE IF you have a student living at home from pre-k thru college???!!!
NO forms to send off in mail or anything! just go download it!
