    installing xp on 2 pcs

    we upgraded to windows me and with the same disk installed it on the kids pc. since upgrading to xp we tried to install on our second pc but no hope. can it be installed on a second pc or do we have to bow to the might of mr. gates and purchase another copy to install on a 2nd computer. not being a computer guru i would like to hear some feedback. cheers!
