    SVA LCD 17" Monitors

Does anyone have any information on this monitor or the company SVA GROUP?
Thinking about purchasing their Model VR17S, which is a 17" LCD monitor.
    Any information is appreciated.

Go to http://www.google.com/ and type in the monitor's model no. and the word review.
It should pick up some sites with reviews.

Thanks for the suggestion, Google was the first place I've checked, no real results. I'll keep searching.

The SVA monitors are available at OfficeDepot. I noticed that some of the returns have been because of poor or unusual pixels appearing near the center of the screen. Some complaints have been that a few red pixels show up when watching an mpeg movie or dvd, but then disappear when reverting back to the desktop. Other than that, the monitor is a pretty good buy for a basic and everyday use.

Thank you all, I did purchase the monitor and so far it is fantastic.
The manual is not the clearest, but it is really not needed.
The monitor is made by Shanghai Video & Audio Co. (SVA) They have an office in CA.

man, sounds like some cheap knockoff that you'd get over in Chinatown. Sort of like Daewoo in that they make really nice cars, but cheap, crappy TV's.
