Are chat messages left on your HD
When your in a chat room or www.pogo.com in a game and chat in the chat section, are any of the messages left on the hard drive? If so can you get rid of them via tool Internet Options?
Thx in advance.

I can't speak for all chat programs but, in general, you have to turn on logging to write sessions to disk.
However, it is possible that some messages may be written to a temp file or even the swap file.
Try using a unique phrase in a chat session (e.g., "this1is2a3test"), then search the hard drive for the phrase. Use the "containing text" option in Windows Explorer's find.
I assume you are only concerned with your own computer. There is no way to know if your correspondents (or a chat room monitor) are logging your messages.

That depends on the chat service. Try the Help function.
