    vidoe playback problem

I loaded a DVD region Killer application. It notified me (without asking permission) that it was making changes based on a sanity check.

Now, all video files (DVD, .mpeg, .avi, .qt) on all my media viewers (Window Media Player, Power DVD, Quicktime Viewer, etc.) is incorrect: the viewers only display the cneter portion of the image. It does not display a lot of the edge portion of the images.

System Info: Windows 2000pro, GForce4 Ti4600 Vcard, AMD tbird CPU, VIA mobo chipset.

Actions taken so far: No errors or alerts in the windows event viewer, removed and reinstalled the video card and its driver, upgraded to Media Player 9, upgraded codecs from MS homepage, removed all codecs via control panel access - and never reinstlled but my files play.. hmm..)

Help, I don't want to reinstall Windows if at all possible.

    Thanks
