What is the most amount of viruses you av software has found at any one time ?

i have a customers machine here next to me that has found 8264 viruses all are vbs.hapitime.a@mm.

whats the most you have seen ?



av software = norton antivirus 2003.

LOL.. that's a lot but that's only one virus.. just a lot of infected files.

That may be a record.

I suspect that different viruses rarely total more than a few dozen. By that time the system will be so slow and unstable that the user will have to investigate.

yeah i was proper unstable as soon as i installed norton it kept finding a script virus and kept opening up the virus found page which was making the comp run out of resources.

i think the virus must have been there for ages and infected every file created since then. lol

its all clean now though. mike
