Dos and USB
Is it possible to use a USB device under Dos?

Hello,
I think, (but I am not positive) that Dr.DOS provides USB support.
(When AlaricD comes around you may get the answer.)
Of course, you could search www.google.com for 'DOS support for USB' and see if you get any hits.

Yes, it's possible to use USB devices under DOS-- the keyboard is just one USB item that can be used in DOS if your BIOS supports it.
IBM offers their TP S31, X2* - USB Portable CD-ROM drive driver for DOS, and Darkhorse.web.com offers links to USB drivers. You can also purchase a DOS USB developer kit from CATC.
USB support isn't implemented in DR-DOS, as far as I can tell, but the USB drivers that are out their for specific items in DOS should work in either MS-DOS or DR-DOS.

Yes. There are drivers for USB devices (if they have it) that are available to MS-DOS; natively MS-DOS does not support the USB devices
