DCC from Win 3.1 to Win 98

Is it possible to use Direct Cable Connect from Win 3.1 (laptop) to a Win 98se (desktop) using a null modem cable? and how would I go about it.

    Thanks all for your help,

    See this thread:
how to instal win95 without cd-rom drive.

Also see Direct Cable Connection for more information. If this is a one time thing, Interlink can get you by. If you want to network routinly, LAN is far easier and can do much more.

The last time I checked, I think you CANNOT use Modem cables. I think Direct Cable Connection specializes in Parallel and Serial cables.

If you want to use a modem cable, you should use the LapLink software.
