Internet Explorer Service Pack 1
If one has installed Win XP Service Pack 1, is it necessary to also install Internet Explorer Service Pack 1? I guess what I am asking is, is IE SP1 included as part of Win XP SP1? My version of IE is 6.0.2800.1106.XPSP1.020808-1920. Does this mean that I already have the IE SP1?
Thanks

if you installed WinXP service pack 1 , IE 6 service pack 1 would have been installed with it.
to verify this click help, about, in IE and it will say SP1 in the version
v-6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020808-1920
is IE SP1 installed

When I went to Windows Update, it listed both IE SP1 @452kb and Windows SP1 @1.9mb as critical updates needing to be installed. When I installed them, they both appeared in the add/remove panel.
