    Restore and scandisk

    If I ran scandisk today and it fixed errors, then restored my PC to Sept 1, does the scandisk fixes stay fixed?

    Its a good question but I don't think that the changes are kept because System Restore is a utility that takes a snapshot of your system state. It doesn't rectify problems like scandisk.
    Any changes that scandisk makes are only kept if the changes where made at the time the selected restore point was created.

    So i would have assumed that the answer is no.
