Sounds
I have MS Internet Explorer 6 running on WinME.
Years ago I thought it would be neat to have MSIE play sounds when going to (and back to) web pages. Now that sound is driving me "crazy," and I want to turn it off. The problem, I forgot how I set it...so I can't turn it off. <sheepish grin>
How would I turn off this sound? Maybe I'll remember this time?
Thank you.

GO to Start<Control Panel>double click sounds & Audio Devices
You then go to the sounds tab and there you will find the option to add/remove sound events for nearly all events.
Hope this helps !

I tried doing that a few weeks ago...BUT this problem deals solely w/ Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, and it's not listed. (None of the other entries work.)
Thanks.
