Outlook Junk Mail Last
Where in Outlook 2000 does the junk mail list reside. I just had to reformat my hard drive and I lost the whole list. I would like to start backing it up so I don't loose it again.
Thanks

For anyone wanting to know the location of this file it resides at C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Junk Senders.txt. It will not be found in the above response to my original post. Since this is a text file it can easily be backed up to a floppy disk.
Anyone wanting to add current spammers to this list may copy and paste the lastest spammers domain names from this site. http://electriceye.net/banned/ Last night I added over 1,000 names to my filter. This site is updated daily. When copying names to your filter, be sure to edit out the dates when the domain was added to the list or it will become part of the domain name. In my case I found that increasing the size of this file did not slow down the program. I plan to update my filter on a weekly basis.
I thought this would be of interest to other Outlook users.

Sorry but you didn't say what OS you were using. I have no such folder in Win95 or 98.

My apologies. I am so used to posting in the XP forum, I forgot I was in a different forum.
I am running Windows XP and Windows 98. The afore mentioned path is on XP. In Windows 98 the path is C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Junk Senders.txt.
Sorry for the confusion.
