Hi Kenjay. All that message means is you haven't allowed Windows media Player to be your default Internet media player.
If you open media player and choose the View Tab> Options Then click on Player you will see a box that says Allow Internet sites to uniquely identify your player,. Make sure there is a check mark there.

It is already ticked. Also says "before you can use Media Guide or Radio Tuner you must be connected to the Internet"
Many thanks T

First, I do not have a check in the box to allow the internet sites to uniquely id my player - but then I may be paranoid - but I don't need the world knowing what I do.
As for the connection, if your browser works, have you gone into the options and made sure that media player is using your browser defaults? tools/options/network/configure
