    i have an old floppy game called life and death with file H4386.GED

    I CAN'T RUN THE LIFE AND DEATH GAME I HAVE WINDOWS XP..

    Hello There,
    I would say it doesn't run because, DOS as you once knew it does not exist on XP.

    You may be able to have a partition on your hard drive with DOS loaded and a boot manager that allows you to boot to DOS.

    Others will know more.
