    Unhappy changing registered name

    I bought a new Compaq 725US 1.4ghz laptop with XP pre-installed and when I typed in the registered name, I noticed that I misspelled my name. How do I go back into the registry and change it?? What location do I look for?? Can I change the computername path in the Document Settings folder so that it'll show the correct name as well as showing the correct registered name in My Computer properties??

    Check out this PAGE. Read section labeled For Windows XP. You should be able to get an idea of how to do this.........
