And what they didn't mention is the privacy issues this raises. Intel already had to deal with this sort of thing with the Processor ID on their Pentium III processors. How is having a static ID on a hard drive any different. It will just be another way for you to be tracked.

Again Big Brother ....... Scary, but I think that anyone can be pretty much tracked without a computer using our good ole' US of A SSN.
