How do I get one file off the ME disk?
I installed a program and it put this absolutly EVIL little spyware program called "WebHancer" on my computer (there should be LAWS against this kind of thing!).
I can't tell how many system files it changed, but I read that it changed the wsock32.dll file, and sure enough the date of that file is todays.
I went into Accessories->System Tools->System Information to replace this file, but that handy WIN98 funtion where you could replace a file off of the CD is gone, and a search of the CD manually turned up no file.
Anyone know if this function exists in ME? Or if not, where I can get wsock32.dll?
Thanks.
