2 Windows NT 4.0 Servers

I am currently working in a school, where we have one windows NT 4 server. We have another windows NT 4 Server up and running and id like to set this up as another server so if the main server goes down I can use this new server. The problem is I cannot change the directory users log into on the new server without it changing on the main server.

any help would be appreciated

Are they set up as member servers or pdc/bdc?

Therte set up as PDC/BDC servers or I guess they are as the main server drive C: is called PDC.

sorry if I sound a little thick my knowledge of Windows NT especially around networking is a little faded in places.
