Path for Office 2000
Hi,
Maybe this is not a network*ng question really, but I know some of You have the answer out there...
I run a Windows 2000 network (Server & Clients)and would like to set the path in Office 2000, for my documents to the server (P:\docs\). That is no problem to do from one client, but how can I make it work from any of the clients?
I want to type the path only on one client and after logging in to another client I want to find my documents directly on P:\docs\ without having to change from the standardpath.
Hope You understand what i mean :-)
Thanx for all Your help!

I set up desktop shortcuts to files I want frequently on a server or another PC. Just right click when you get there, create a shortcut, copy the shortcut and paste it onto your desktop. If you find yourself no longer needed at that place of empoyment, the next user can easily delete the shortcut.
