2 10/100 Ethernet & 2PCs & Crossover cable
Have problem connecting 2PC's both running W98 and using same 32bit 10/100 Ethernet PCI network cards.
Which protocol should I use, TCP/IP or IPX, because both are installed when I installed card driver.
Should I assign IP addresses or not. What about WORKGROUPS?
Please help me with advice or with a link where I can find information.

First, make sure you've installed the latest Adapter drivers for your NICs, then check Device Manager to see that NICs are funtional.
Second, make sure:
- both have different computername
- both have same workgroup name
- both have File and Print Sharing installed
- both have Client for Microsoft Networks installed
Why not use NetBEUI instead? Remove TCP/IP, and IPX/SPX, then install NetBEUI (it doesn't require configuration.) If it works, and you still want to use TCP/IP or IPX/SPX, post back.
A good site for info:

Good luck.

Are you using crossover cables or straight through?
Are you using a hub?
