Home network sharing cable modem
Hello
I just created a home network sharing cable modem using Sygate. My second nic on the server can not comunicate with the client i found that the problem is that the card is showing as Forced Hardware under Win98 System Information Manager. If anyone has any info on how to trouble shoot this please update. Thanks

Remove that NIC from win98 device manager then try using the setup/diagnostics that came on the disk w/the NIC to configure it(it's probably a dos program so you need to exit windows to a dos prompt), test it to make sure there are no conflicts. Reboot and let win98 detect it & that should work. Post if still having problems.
Good luck.
