    What problem are you having?

Are you trying to burn videos as video/super video cds? If so the video files need to be in a certain format eg for vcd

    PAL

    Video:
    1150 kbit/sec MPEG-1
    352 x 288 pixels
    25 frames/second

    Audio:
    224 kbit/sec MPEG-1 Layer2

    Extra:
    Menus and chapters
    Still pictures in 704x576,352x288

    NTSC/NTSC Film

    Video:
    1150 kbit/sec MPEG-1
    352 x 240 pixels
    29,97 frames/second
    23,976 frames/second NTSC Film

    Audio:
    224 kbit/sec MPEG-1 Layer2

    Extra:
    Menus and chapters
    Still pictures in 704x480,352x240

Suggest you look at http://www.vcdhelp.com/ for more info.

However if you arn't burning vcds just trying to burn videos to disk to free up space on your hard drive and don't actually want them to play in dvds/vcd players then you just burn the video as any other data file ..

my ultimate is goal is have the vids on cd and be able to view as easily as possible..
sorry if i seem so ignorant on this..i guess that i thought i could just a burn a vid to cd and than view whenever i wanted..thanks for the help..the site was good/informative but overwhelming!! i have alot to learn!!

You can burn the vids to cd and watch them.

Start Nero as you would any other time.

You will want to be burning a data disk as usual. Select the vids and burn..

The only problem you may have is if the files and very large and the space left on the disk is small ie when I was tring to burn 700mb from the c drive and had only 350mb left free on the drive , the system kept crashing .
