file splitter program question/problem
this is the situation i have...bare with me..i need to copy a program from a computer at work (fire dept, EMT-P review)..here is the major problem:
1. file is to large for 1 3.5disc,
2. no internet access,
3. no zip drive or CD-RW,
this is what happens when a town government buys computers with no input from the people who will be using them!!
so, what i have done is dowloaded onto my home computer, "file splitter V1.21" from marc bjorklund via PCWorld...now the situation is:
how do i copy the file spliter program to 3.5disc(s) so that i will be able to split the file at work? when i try to split the file splitter program it comes w/ the prog is use..how do i copy? thanks so much in advance...my test day is coming up soon!!!
Good luck and please post back with results!

Use Winzip to compress your document/span floppy disks or use a different file splitter...

wojo--
You should be able to install the splitter program on your computer and then use it to split the ORIGINAL file that you downloaded. Also if I recall, there are a wealth of splitter programs at CNET that will fit on one disc. Good luck.
