spellcheck

I have a user with Word 97. His spellchecker does not check for mistakes. Any ideas why not? I checked in Tools/Options and all the appropriate checkmarks are there (check spelling as you type, hide errors is cleared, always suggest corrections, check grammar, check grammar with spelling, hide grammatical errors in this doc is cleared, etc...).

And yes - he does have spelling mistakes.

Thanks for the articles.

I did not have the opportunity to test the responses yet. Next time it happens I will try. I had already reinstalled Office onto C (the User had to work - I cannot make him wait until I figure it out, so I have to find a quick solution than I figure it out for future reference).
